Well I would have great difficulty moving my fridge freezer as its in a housing in my kitchen and I'd have to get a workman to remove the surrounding wood etc to actually move the blessed thing ,so I'm afraid what evers behind there can stay there,as it has for the past 8 years No doubt when I shuffle off this mortal coil and my house is sold someone will perhaps want to redo the kitchen so what ever they find they can keep
:)
The blokes a total plank, I wonder who moves his fridge for him0 -
He'll be first against the wall, come the Revolution.
I clean under and behind my appliances once a year but am thinking of skipping it now because of this comment.
On t'other hand, my kitchen scissors have been MIA for several weeks and I think they must be under one of the appliances, and therefore may venture into Narnia to retrieve.
If appliances were meant to be moved regularly, they'd be on wheels, dammit.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

I must admit I don't do it often but I do vacuum behind the fridge (well I get the long pointy tool out to do it). Theres just enough space behind my larder freezer to get the nozzle in and I only do it in case the ventilation vent gets clogged up with dog hairs. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. i can and do move my big american side by side
its plumbed into the mains but they left me enough pipe so i can slide it out
its not difficult at all
as we have a tiled floor, dust bunnies do sneak under it
Yours must be lighter than ours, ours is ridiculously heavy! We bought it from the previous owners of the house so it was already in place, and empty, but it took three big burly removal men to pull it out two inches so we could get to a plug point behind it! Not a chance of cleaning behind it. Guess I'm in the !!!!!! club!0 -
I have 2 long haired border collies and am so worried about moving the appliances to clean under them, I may have enough dog hair to make another one! :rotfl:0

Indeed! If I tried to jiggle my huge fridge out I would have to remove all the glass [STRIKE]wine and beer [/STRIKE] juice and water bottles first to avoid them all crashing down on the [STRIKE]cream cakes [/STRIKE]fuit and veg! What a palaver!0 -
My fridge is built in so unless I rip out the panelling, I can't clean behind it!0
