night all :A
broke my back doing glitching :eek:0 -
"This receipt's going to give nothing, it's totally useless!!" The exact words of my thoughts a few moments ago, after three nil returns... (seeing that there was 'cheap' bread, £1 bakewells, 50p onions and £1 lasagne on this.)
Patty - it's bloomin' Morries again that have given the result.
Why £2.17?
11 items (7 different) on your bill qualify for comparison
Morrisons
+£1.02
2 x ASDA Golden Vegetable Savoury Rice (120g)£1.00N/A
1 x ASDA Round Lettuce£0.50£0.57
1 x ASDA Organic Vine Tomatoes (4)£1.65N/A
3 x ASDA White Bloomer (400g)£2.25£1.75
1 x Mr Kipling Cherry Bakewells (6)£1.00£1.00
3 x San Miguel Premium Lager (660ml)£6.00£5.00
1 x McCain Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper Potato Wedg...£2.00N/A
1 x ASDA Whole Cucumber£0.50£0.65
1 x ASDA Spring Onions£0.50£0.75
1 x ASDA Sweetcorn (2)£1.00N/A
1 x Anchor Spreadable (250g)£1.68£1.69
2 x Giovanni Rana Lasagne Bolognese (350g)£2.00N/A
Comparison total (compared products only)£12.43£11.41
M price on the Bloomers in red - so mbuy purchase needed. Not v.good though, for only 400g:eek:, works out at over 58p each:eek::eek:. Pleased they bought them for me though!:rotfl: (Looks like it's 2 for £1, plus 75p - not a good price 2 for £1 as I'd expect that, as an absolute maximum price, on twice the size loaves as that.)
San Miguel apparently requiring purchase of 3 in order to get £5 M price up (same result Avs S). Not v.good per L though, otherwise I would have picked up the M price myself. Looking at £1.20/L on my alcohol. These must be way more expensive than that!
Regarding the Bakewells (oh no I thought, £1 A price), I knew that the Kip.Bakewell Tart, on special purchase in M (and APG does compare vs 'special purchases'), returned N/A on the PG a few weeks ago. I knew some of the Kip Cakes are on £1 in M (careful though, only certain ones), although the Bakewell Tarts are A CBY version vs Sainsbobs 75p (not as good as when Sainsbobs were on 3 for 2 on that price), but best price (on non-whoopsies) that I can get. Note: It's Teatime Treat 6 Bakewell Tarts, not the CBY Bakewell Slices.
M on usual 2 for £1.80 across certain of its own brand 6 pack cakes packs, but Bakewell Tarts at 75p (67.5p net) vs Sains. cheaper per pack.
Wish they'd bought 3x Half Cucumber (33p each in M) - although not on M list as buying one whole cucumber at 50p (on a non-comp or possibly Tvs A) is better. Waiting for T to price match though and make it 45p!:)
Round Lettuce should be bought in A away from a comp. (perhaps with the whole cucumber) or, minus any cucumber, can be bought alone as a filler item vs T, although it will be N/A and not 10% off as T's 50p version is Eday Value. Or presumably you can get the T Eday one (vs A, or with extreme care, Tvs M).0 -
:jall caught up - well this new thread
.
Night all, take care and here's hoping for some more great glitches.
Oh by the way I picked up a couple of the new T's mags today. They are a different size to the usual one's - would have got more if I'd known they were the coupon mags.
Size is A4

It certainly is - six for 87p (less 10%). That's a very very good price IMO. (If Savvy says it...):dance::whistle:0 -
