Thanks for posting the comp. Has anyone else got a pop-up on the Facebook page about Woobox?

It asks if you want to "Authorize Woobox to use your account?"

It states

"This application will be able to:

• Read Tweets from your timeline.
• See who you follow, and follow new people.
• Update your profile.
• Post Tweets for you"

What bothers me is the 'Follow new people' on your behalf,
"Update your profile", and "Post tweets" for you! :eek:
My goodness, they could have some fun with that authorisation!

I really appreciate you taking the time and trouble to post, but I'm going to give this one a miss!

woobox is perfectly safe

it is just a twitter authorisation APP, much like you will see on many FB applications/competitions

woobox as a company themselves have absolutely no interest in your twitter account or mucking about with it, all it will do is act in accordance with the requirements for that particular competition/provider

every new comp will require a 're-authorisation'

with regards to what it will do, it will only make sure that you follow the company that is hosting the competition and follow it for you if you are not already and then post a tweet for you about the competition as is a requirement of the competition - if you go look at your timeline afterwards you will see this
