What's my next step?

I'm in disbelief about this, but after 6 long year's I have no defaults or nasties left on my credit file!! :-) I thought this day would never come :-)

Experian has my up-to-date, well managed current account and Credit Expert shows the same, but CE is indicating a negative factor against me because I have no recent settled accounts. We currently rent but have started saving for a house deposit. Obviously getting my credit sorted was a big factor in having to wait to do this.

So to put me in the best standing for a mortgage am I going to need to take out some form of credit now to build a positive, as opposed to being a blank page? What's the most sensible way to do this if so?
