And in more other news the VNM Mother's doctor responded to the letter we wrote. After a flurry of calls as it took a while for them to grasp the situation fully, they agreed to do a house visit to her. I'm happy to support him but glad I no longer have to think about it if that makes sense.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

You do need to be careful going forwards with the ex but otherwise its positive. Lucky to have the charming cob, they tend to want the grass more than a wb or tb, so less of the airs above the groundCredit card debt - NIL

Highly rate the charity I was referred to. Very clear options explained with likely outcomes. They now take all my information, give it due consideration and then send me an email (having checked my email is secure) setting out the pros and cons of all possible action steps.
The women was fantastic. She actually said that going for legal advice at a solicitors was difficult because of the vested interest in getting clients and that the charity doesnt have that issue and so can put the pros and cons down clearly and then I can decide for myself knowing the facts, but, knowing the facts with legal help rather than google.
I feel a sense of relief as I want to do "something" but now I know it will be an "informed decision" if I do "something"Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

That sounds very positive, at least when you decide which route to take you will have the information to make the best choice for you, and hopefully the worst choice for exCredit card debt - NIL

The council tax saga rolls on. I apparently can't have a 25% discount because the VNM lives here and the council had "received information" to that effect. Hmmm Wonder where that came from? It couldn't possibly be my ex surely?
I think this has got out of hand. The council seem to believe the ex lives elsewhere, the VNM lives elsewhere and can evidence this (he would live with me but the ex does). I am not entitled to a discount because the ex lives here, but the council don't believe he does. They have my tenancy agreement but still believe I live here when I did not.
Its ridiculous. I burst into tears of frustration yesterday. Then I had an inspired idea. I rang my local borough councillor and asked for help and she is going to follow up today and try and get some sensible advice for me. I've written the history down and edited it . Took ages. Fingers crossed she can help. She certainly cannot make it worse surely!

Oh and the VNM's mother has decided to eat again. Surprising that. After worrying her son, his ex wife, her granddaughter and just about everyone else. she felt up to eating a little toast, and the next day up to eating a small meal of chicken, veggies and bread. A little bit of me wonders if she realised she was pushing herself to far and this was a cry for help and attention. Hey ho. She has that now. Hopefully she will regain her strength.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Good call on the local councillor! That definitely sounds like their cup of tea.2023: the year I get to buy a car4

I really hope that the CT episode doesn't end up with them deciding that either your house or the rental cottage is a second home and they charge a premium rate for a second home as they do in some areas. Your ex is a large pile of $hite.
