    Ty for your reply

thing is I do have a job where we have quiet periods and have access to internet but it is disciplinary if found on facebook ect. at min I am entering as and when I can with time permitting running a house and working.

Do you have internet at home - maybe use that for short periods when/if you have a wee bit of time? Please don't risk disciplinary at work hun :eek:

There are also plenty of postals etc but of course you have to consider cost of stamps etc. xxx

Evening all - brrrr it's a tad chilly - cat n me sat by the fire - although she seems to have the lions share of it!!!!! Stretched out, taking up all the space and sending up happy zzzzzz's - such is life with pets!!!! :D

Sylv, Fred - hope you are feeling better today xxx

Well done to any winners etc that I have missed. :T:T

Had rather sad day today - re my lovely younger neighbours - her mum (lovely lady, have known her for a long time) suffered a heart attack last night, followed by 2 more :( Not old by any means - Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time and also that her lovely mum makes a complete recovery. :A

Last year I stumbled upon about 53 daily advents + made a paper tick list.

I've seen a few early notifications around n about but not taking notice. Classic Fm emailed a pre-advent comp.

That's flew past LadyM! I love the pics of him on fb, such a cutie! :) Are you doing anything special for yours & Dex's bdays?

Hi Gloria  welcome back to comping! I tend to comp later on a night now as I'm struggling to fit everything in these days too!

Aw that's so sad Alfie, sorry to hear that xx A lovely lady who I knew was stabbed to death last week. It just didn't seem right that she had to die as she was very pleasant and friendly.

According to fb (can't remember what paper) we are in for bad snowy weather next week!

Think it might be The Daily Express wingo - wouldn't take it seriously! They forecast that for this month too and we have hardly seen any low temperatures at all.

    Hi everyone,

I am after a little advice I used to comp quite a lot but work full time now so don't get chance as much and have lost my mojo :-( I really want to start again and am trying to get bits done was just wondering for those of you that work full time how do you fit it in?

    TIA

    Gloria

Hi there, as Alfie said earlier I would suggest you do what I do too. I go through the recently posted comps, do any ending within a week and save to folders in my browser eg December, January and catch up at weekend when fewer comps are posted. Mind you that's not going to happen now with the Advents starting  I am retired now too so can spend as long as I want on here but remember when I was working I struggled to keep up.

I will be selective with Advents too as have never won much on them in 3 years ;)

Probably was the daily express Sheils, they do have a reputation for dramatising the weather! I just hope it doesn't snow on wed for DD's bday as she wants us to go bowling. The minute she was born it started snowing! A moment we'll never forget!
