Gluten Free Apple Crumble

Options
Just picked up Somerfields free mag and theres a reader recipe in it for a gluten free apple crumble so thought Id post it here

(Hope its not already been posted, couldnt find it in the search)

Preheat Oven to 180C / 350F/ Gas4

175g (6oz) cornflour
75g (2 3/4 oz) Margarine
50g (1 3/4 oz) demerara sugar
4 cooking apples

Place cornflour into a bowl, add marg, rub together until mixture resembles breadcrumbs

Stir in sugar
Peel and slice apples, place in ovenproof bowl
spoon topping over
sprinkle with a little more demerara sugar
Cook in oven for 40 mins until golden

(this isnt exactly as it appears in the mag as that was quite hard to read so hopefully I havent broken any copyright issues by posting)

Damn. :( In my haste to get here I didn't read the word 'gluten' :o
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
