Hope it's ok to add that to enter this competition you MUST subscribe.0

Words to that effect are in the main post. I write it that way so I don't have to change my template for Shortlist competitions. I rarely see Jean III having to put up with this type of comment for Stylist competitions that require you to subscribe to Emerald Street in order to enter.0

I get emails from them everyday (I see them because my email provider is rubbish and doesn't remember when I mark things as spam so it lands in my inbox.)
I've never entered a comp with Mr Hyde that I didn't have to subscribe to enter. Perhaps change the wording of the template if it is always the case nowdays.Thank you to everyone who posts on the competitions boards. You all rock!0 -
Or I just keep doing them same thing as several hundred MSE users don't have an issue with it, not to mention any info in addition to the answer and the entry link is a courtesy.0

From Mr Hyde? Strange as, despite entering any number of comps that require subscription to Mr Hyde, I've never actually received anything from them. Spam or otherwise.I get emails from them everyday (I see them because my email provider is rubbish and doesn't remember when I mark things as spam so it lands in my inbox.)

Don't people know how to use filters on emails? Mr Hyde emails go directly into trash for me because I know how to use email, so please people work it out Painkiller and all the other posters are doing a fantastic job and pedantic remarks are not necessary (otherwise i would be posting hundreds of times ... lol)2026 prizes - £10 BioSynergy voucher; £200 LovetoShop voucher;
2026 -as of 10/3/26: Comps 2243: wins 2: value £220
2025 Comps 12362: wins 10: value £1862
2024 Comps 13526: wins 13: value £14750 -
Sorry to bump, but I actually enjoy the emails I get from Mr Hyde and Shortlist, they are funny and interesting.

Painkiller does a great job with these comps. If you don't like the idea of subscribing to their emails, don't enter!

It was nothing more than a helpful, if mistaken, comment from that poster... no need for the over reaction either imo :huh: to someone else reading it that looks way worse/narky/rude than someone trying to be helpful and not realising that term was already in the first post.0
