    Frugal - hugs.

they always act quickly - don't take that as a sign to worry.

I had a lump and was in really quickly. Mine was just a revolting pile of breastmilk (was feeding at the time).

Please. I know it doesn't help, but worrying doesn't acheive anything in this situation. DH is probably quietly in a state too.

    hugs

  • (((((hugs))))) FRUGAL - will be keeping my fingers crossed for you

Well, we popped to homebase to get some grass seed, and saw some lovely chocolate fur throws reduced from £60 to £35, and bought 2  Wasn't planned for, but I suppose you could look at it like this - our sofas are knackered and it was cheaper than replacing them :rotfl:

DH is just cutting the grass, and I'm about to get dinner started.

    Catch you later.
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

    Frugal-((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))

Well Ive had a lovely afternoon. Nephew and his wife came and got DD around noon. Then OH surprised me by saying he was taking me out to lunch:eek:      ...I nearly dropped dead! He took me to a Brewers Fayre and I a Roast Lamb Dinner and he had a Mixed Grill and a drink each. I didnt ask the cost:D ...we chatted throughout and was lovely. We then popped to Tesco for a pudding/fruit/essential and into B&Q on way home for some compost and when we got home we made up 4 huge flower pots for the back garden. DD is coming home around 7.30 and we are just about to put some TV on and have some dessert.

I know this week is going to be tough and Im going to be a bi*** to live with as I am starting new drugs in the morning, but today Ive had a lovely time and will try and think of today when the days are bad:rolleyes:

    Hugs to all.

Haven't posted on here for months, been so busy on my course. Today OH finished our new patio and it looks lovely. Got goven 2 tomato plants which I'm so pleased about as have been too busy to remember to plan my own this year.

Cleaned bathroom this morning, rest of house is reasonably clean. We were given some chipolatas tday so will probably cook those with some mash, veg and gravy for dinner.

    Have a good evening all,
    Sarah x

    Hello all!

My internet is connected at home now, so I will be back with you all on a regular basis - I'll need to be as well as this coming month is going to be tighter than a crab's behind!! To cut a long story short, ex OH has stolen £900 of mine, so I have about £40 to last me the month. Fortunately the person I share a house with now has offered to pay all the rent, so at least we'll have a roof over our head. It is also my birthday in the middle of the month, so I'll probably get some money then as well.

Anyway, Im afraid I just will not be able to catch up with however many daily's I have missed so can someone PLEASE update me with what is going on :) Hope you are all well !

OMG Blairweech - that's terrible. Good luck with the new situation.

I've been a very busy bee today. I did another 4 washloads - and had to borrow next door's washing line - ironed all of today's and yesterday's washing (well, the bits I iron, not ALL of it, you understand ...), finished off - and sampled - my trifle, and made a cake. I still have to put all the ironing away, bring in one more washload from the line (bedding), and sort out the towels that are currently washing then tumble drying. I was supposed to be going out but I've not had tea yet and just want to crash on the settee.

    Have lovely evenings.

.... I too have an hospital appointment, mine is at the Breast Care clinic, I went to the doctors on Friday with a small pee size lump, and after the Doc examined me he said "you don't need to go to the hospital today" and told me to wait in the waiting room whilst he made a phone call, when I got called back in, I was told I had an appointment for Monday 4th June, I haven't sleeped since Friday, keep crying and generally being a absolute b*tch to the children and to my OH, its the fear of the unknown and I am in tears again....

((hugs)) Try to keep things in perspective - the Dr is being extremely vigilant and making sure you are at the top of the Q for screening! I know it's incredibly worrying - been there, done that, worn the T-shirt - but, just because you have been given an early appointment, doesn't mean the very worst news ((hugs)) It simply means that finally, women are being given the priority they deserve over such things!!!! You may well have tests on Monday and still be none the wiser - but that doesn't mean (per se!) that it's the worst news, merely that they need to be a bit more thorough ;) As hard as it is, do try to keep positive; either way, hang in there!! My dd and I both found lumps within a couple of years of one another, so I *do* appreciate how you are feeling. Despite everything that was and has been done, I still get a bluey-green discharge which remains a complete mystery to the medical profession and my lump remains (non-cyst) unless it "causes you problems" ) Just stay as calm as you can because a positive attitude can work for you - whereas a negative one can only make things much, much harder ((hugs))

Murtle - cocktails?? Did someone mention Cocktails???? :j :j :j Welcome "home", delighted to see you :T :T :T Actually, cocktails played no part in my toe-scenario ... maybe it wouldn't have hurt so much if I'd had one or two

csarina - aww, bless your heart and thank you for your total understanding :D Many years ago, I broke my big toe playing football (don't ask!) so this is very much a blast from the past for me just a different toe!

    Donna - Wooooohooooooooo! :T :T :T Congrats to your ds and you!!!!! :T :T :T

    sarahT - :T :T Enjoy your patio :D:D:D

PP - delighted you were taken out to lunch and enjoyed the treat :T You are right, when the new drugs are trying to drag you down, remember all the positives!

Today's baking plans were both a hit and a miss :o Sorry Aril - as tempting as the X-stitching/cardmaking et al was/is .. I needed to get some baking done!

The two fruit cakes (one for now, one for freezer) turned out well enough, but for some reason, my Flapjacks flunked :( "Waste not; want not" I crumbled the cruddy flapjacks, and used up the "Fridge Apple" (half price from Sainsbury's) and redesigned them as Apple Crumble :D:D:D Think I've got away with it ;)

My veggie crumble turned out absolutely delicious :T :T Definately one for the meal planner :D

Oooh, my brum-brum is causing a bit of goss in the neighbourhood ... popped to the shops to get some butter for some more baking and when I got home, one of the neighbours was out and called across (cheeky blighter!):-
    "You've got too much money!"
    :naughty:

"Nah, I'm just sooooo good with my figure/s" :p says I!!!

Just *knew* that getting the car would cause some comment from the 'hood  I just know they are all wondering how I could "afford" it - cheeky beggars! But I can't help feeling smug  after all, I've *paid* for mine in full - theirs may well be via loan/HP! Big UP for MSE + number savvy juggling  I do think it's a bit impertinent to call out about it though .. it's not like they've spoken to me much in the 13yrs I've lived here!
They're going to have a field day when I hire the man who can to do the external painting ;) :rotfl: Oooh, talk of town ;)

catznine - been sending up some prayers and posi vibes for your friend and a few for you to help you through these challenging times ((hugs))

Shez - are you still focusing on your PM Meditations? I do hope so and hoping they give you the posititivity that you need right now.

Aussielass - early 'male-hesitation' syndrome? (I daren't say the *real* word and tempt fate :o )

Catch you later my lovelies  :D:D:D

Frugal - Huge ((HUGS)), i had a 'pea sized' lump about 7 years ago, and after many scans and examinations, they decided to remove it (too young for a mammogram, and they were pretty sure it wasnt to suspicious). It turned out to be a broad bean sized 'fibranoma' (sp), which was sent away and turned out to be completely harmless. Wont give you false hope, but you can see it could be so many different things, and i really hope all will be ok for you, at least they are seeing you quickly, so they will be able to keep on top of it.

Blairweech - glad to see you posting again, what a horrible thing for your ex to do, hope you will be ok, and very glad he is now your ex!!!!

PP - glad you had a lovely day, hope all the jabs next week will be ok xx
