    Hello everyone,
Sorry I've not been around for a while. I've been so busy with work, garden and still trying to run the house without a kitchen. No heating yet but they have sorted us hot water so that helps. I'm so late with everything on the lottie this year. I only started digging yesterday and put in a few broard beans I'd had in the green house which were 15" tall so I doubt they'll come to much. I'm aiming to plant everything else today and it takes its chance - that's what I normally do but two months earlier than this!

I've found two seperate robins nests and the parents were collecting bugs as I dug. Every time a cat came they got so destressed until it passed by. My cats are inside with litter trays for a few weeks to give the babies a chance. Anyway they are feeding this morning so another safe night for the babies.

DH has taken youngest to a car boot - this is a first. I hope he likes it and finds something, then he might go again.

    Have a good day everyone
Doing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
My DD might make the odd post for me

A good start to the day. DGS2 needed just a wee cuddle at 2.30 this morning and slept through until 7.00; DGS1 slept through until 7.30! I must have worn them out yesterday - I slept like a baby too!

Not doing much today. Boys are watching a Winnie the Pooh dvd and I am going to jump in the shower. DH and I will deliver them home after lunch and stay at DD's for dinner.

Hope you all enjoy your Sunday.

    Good morning everyone,

Just DD and i here today, DS stayed at his friends house last night. I did try to ring him, and text him but i think the orange network was down in our area yesterday, so im just trying to bide my time before ringing this morning, as im desperate to check that he is ok!!!! I also need to arrange with his friends parents when they want me to collect him, i would expect it will be before lunch, as they have had him since 2pm yesterday!!!
We need to goto the garden centre, as i need some compost to plant out my tomatoes. I think i will get one of those tomato grow bags and use that, ive never grown anything before, but thses tomatoes are growing at the mo, so im hoping once i move them outside they will carry on, and hopefully produce fruit!!!
Nothing much else planned for today, friends DD will be back this afternoon, hopefully after she has done some revision - its Geography and Maths tomorrow for her!!

Right, need to get into the shower and get dressed - promised DD i would make waffles for breakfast, so better get a move on.

Ok, hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • Good morning, what a wonderful sunny day it is again :D

Washing just about to finish in the machine, then I'm going to stick it out on the line. DD's school uniform is all ironed and ready so I haven't got to do that today ;)

Dinner tonight is toad in the hole with roasties, veg and gravy. Nothing else to report really.

Have a great day everyone :D
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Good to see you back Looby-loo

Well I'm all on my lonesome today as OH is away for a stag do and the girls have gone to their grandparents last night. I went out with a good friend and had a few giggles. ;) Very surprisingly my head is fine this morning though I was expecting the worst. :D

Today I am off to pick himself up from the airport at 6ish then we have boked into a Glasgow hotel for the night as i have the dreaded hospital visit in Newcastle on Monday and it seemed sensible not to drive back up here tonight. We'll have a night in Newcastle to then back to Glasgow on Tuesday. OH is dropping me off as he will need to get back for the girls but as my new car will be ready to be picked up on Wednesday I am going to stay on my own in the big city. :D Confused?? Me too. :D:D

So today I need to pack for me and leave out uniforms etc for the girls as they will be back after I've left today with Grandma staying with them.

I'm really looking forward to a couple of nights away with OH but just wish it wasn't so complicated and that there wasn't a hospital appt in between and I will really miss the girls.

The most torrential rain has started here so it won't be a pleasant 2 hour drive today:rolleyes: But never mind.

Off to have a nosy round the site then a quick swish and swipe of the house.

    See you all on Wednesday!!

    mornin peeps

Havent long got up, went to bed last nite, with a slight back ache, which then turned into a full on attack of rib and back pain. Been suffering from it for years, but havent had an attack like that in agess, was so painful, and made me throw up :( So was up for hours, coz I couldnt sleep with the pain, so not a gd nights sleep for me :(

Weather today here is horrible, dont want to go out, but run out of bread and milk, so gonna have to brave the weather and get to tesco  Also need to pop to Woolworths, brought a Vtech vsmile adapter friday, got it home and it doesnt work, so gotta drive back to woolworths (about a 20 mile round trip) to get a refund or exchange

Hopefully gonna get some housework done today, was out all yesterday, so didnt get to do any yesterday, so double the housework today lol Also need to do my meal plans for this week, and get an order done on tesco.com which I keep putting off

Got roast later, some luvly lamb chops, potatoes and veg, making me hungry already :rotfl:

hope every1 is ok? every1 having a good weekend?

    Good Morning All

well, a restless night for me. Still trying to trace my movements in order to find this missing money.Still no joy in finding it. Will have to sub off mum (if she can help), as the money was needed for diesel, electric & gas. £60 is a huge amount when your'e skint! I really could kick myself for losing it!

Ive caught up with the washing, but housework - well - it'll have to wait! OH did the shopping saturday afternoon. I didnt fancy going!

OH thought the family get together in Cheshire (his grandparents 60th wedding anniversary) was at 4pm, it's not. We have to be there for the meal at 1.30pm, which means we have to leave earlier now! Im so not in the mood for going, but know I have to for OH! But then again, OH woke up this morning not feeling all that well! So who knows what will happen!

Had another panic attack sat night! Will have to montor them, and may seek dr's help! It's been months since my last lot, but with recent events, I know it doesn't help matters!

Cant believe the gorgeous weather, shame we're going out, otherwise, I would have put the pool up!

    Must get cracking on.
    Have a lovely Sunday

    Morning all.

It's a lovely day here in South Yorkshire too, so I'm going to get more of the holiday washing on the line and maybe strip the bed.

I whisked my blancmange custard at 1.30 this morning and it worked quite well, so I'll be topping off the trifle next. Then I'll make a cake (I've stopped buying shop-bought cakes now) to add to the 12 ... um 10 (!) I made yesterday. Then I might roast some chicken drumsticks to go with salads today and tomorrow.

Another rock gig tonight. I didn't do a review last night. Decided to enjoy it instead, as it was my first one after my holiday. I probably will take camera and notepad tonight, though.

Hugs to everyone who wants/needs them. Have a good day.
