Nightmare buying jeans and Levi's

Options
I have been shopping for jeans for weeks, but due to me being a 36 inside leg and a bit fussy, I have bought nothing. I seen a great pair of Levi's jeans, but delayed buying them because I wanted to try some others first. Now after buying and returning jeans to Marks and TK Max I find the original pair of Levi's jeans I wanted are out of stock

Well, what I mean is Levi's might still have them for £75 quid, but I had found them online for about £45 with postage, but that offer is gone. I have googled for about 2 hours today and all I could find was the same pair on ebay for about £59.

Does anyone know any good European or other sites for cheap jeans that I might not have found with Google. I have literally been on about 30 or more sites today. I've tried everywhere, but I may have to buy them from ebay before they get snapped up too.

I get my jeans down at the local market, £5 a pair, perfect.;)

No " Label " of course, but then I have nothing to prove..

I have the same problem but have found that the following stores DO stock 36 inch inside leg jeans. Gap, next (cat. only) jack & jones, Republic, hilfiger, levi's, h&m and recently m&s. Hope this helps, Colin

Thanks guys. I have tried some of those stores, but many of them don't sell Levis. I have nothing to prove either, but the fit and quality just works for me, and I don't have as much choice due to my size.

I will try some American sites later, but I think I'll have to ebay.

A couple of years back I used to buy my Levi's from a shop in the Midlands called Chez Rama. As long as I spoke to the manager (Ken was his name) at that time the prices were less than £40. Might be worth seeing if they are still trading and can post out?

Sorry can't help, but would be interested in any you find, my OH is the same and we spent lots of money on them in the end!

None of the shops in our area stock 36 leg length....including Debenhams, House of Frazer.

He doesn't have anything to prove, other then the fact that many other style jeans don't fit him! The "long" length in the shops we tried was 34!

Whenever I go to the Next Clearance outlet they always seem to have plenty of 'long leg' jeans or 'extra long leg' jeans.

Thanks again for the links. I have been on all of those sites already. I ended up buying a pair from the German ebay for £55 including postage, which was still £20 cheaper than the Levi store price, but I could have got them for £45 if I had bought them last week from a UK site.

Murtle, there are loads of sites (like the ones linked to above) that do 36ins leg, but the issue for me is I would much rather try them on first to avoid the hassle of sending them back.

The pair I am buying I had tried on in the past the Levi store so I know they are a fairly good fit. The real issue for tall people is not just finding the jeans online, it is finding high street shops where you can try them on for size. I must have tried 25 to 30 pairs in the last 2 months.

    Hi Franco78,

    This place lists 36" Leg Levi 501s. £39/£45 + £2.99p/p:

I've bought 501s off them before and had no problems.

    HTH,
    Frank.

I bought two pairs of Levis at its factory outlet at Bicester Village for £45 each. Then got an extra 10% off due to a special they had on that day. Might be worth a trip.

Also, I'm told the Levis store on Regent Street has one of those machines that analyses what your ideal fit is, and they do free alterations. Haven't been myself so can't confirm.
