Men's shampoo

My son (nearly 13) asked me the other day to buy him some "manly shampoo" ! He went from using children's shampoo to using mine a couple of years ago but is finding the smell too flowery.
Has anyone got any suggestions for shampoo with less of a girly smell?
We had a look in Sainsburys but the only man shampoos seemed to be to help with balding! Son has absolutely tons of hair (was down to his waist before he left primary school!)
Thanks in advance.

Tea tree shampoo isn't particularly girly?

DH uses combined shower gel and shampoo then he's away. I think Lynx, etc, make it? When he's home he just uses whatever I happen to be using. He loves Aussie, but only gets that when its on offer. If I have to wait till its cheap then so does he!0

My ds buys the Lynx shampoo now, he seems to like it. Got it for £1.99 in a little shop in town which is a good price. It is around £3 in Boots or Superdrug.0

When I am buying for my brother I often get Ted Baker or French Connection (FCUK) shampoo and body wash. Boots sell them, possibly Superdrug, too.The report button is for abusive posts, not because you don't like someone, or their opinions0

The Lynx ones are probably a good bet. My OH quite likes the tea tree ones or things like mint etc. Will put up with fruit ones like apple or orange. Basically ones with more of a 'fresh' scent rather than a flowery one.0

Thanks for all the replies! The Lynx ones are just shampoo, are they? I was reluctant to buy shower gel because we don't have a shower (just a bath) so have never bought any before.0

If he still has long hair, don't buy him a shapoo without also getting him a condtitioner-his thick long hair, will be a damaged mess in no time flat! Look at supermarket own-brands, there is always something nutty there, less fruity/flowery. If he rinses his hair with diluted white vinegar after washing, it will have no scent after its dried
Please excuse my bad spelling and missing letters-I post here using either my iPhone or rathr rubbishy netbook, neither of whch have excellent keyboards! Sorry!0 -
