Answer - ??? I would say brown - but thats not an option.

Although the shells typically have a light brown color, pistachio nuts may be dyed red or green to hide damage of the outer shell inflicted during processing.
Maybe we should wait to see if they change the options.

Just looked at the pistachio nuts in my cupboard and they are mainly green.

I had a look on Wikipedia and this is what I found (so I guess any answer is good answer)

When the fruit ripens, the shell changes from green to an autumnal yellow/red, and abruptly splits part way open

I would suggest the answer is GREEN.

The range of Breville products come in Strawberry Cream (Pink), Vanilla Cream (Cream) and Pistachio (Green), so assuming they're linking the colour of the Breville product to the answer then the answer must be GREEN.

i think green as well; pistachio ice cream is a light green colour, although the shell is more yellow. oh god ive confused myself now!

I went with green because that is the colour of one of the 'candy colours' the devices come in-pistachio...
