Got away a bit early so went home via the shops as our cupboards and fridge were empty.

Spent £12.62 in FF and £54.22 in Lidl. Fridge and cupboards are now bulging. Really pleased as I got 56 items in lidl.

I have decided to kick start a healthy eating plan for the family. I bought lots of fruit and veg. Also going to increase everyone's water intake. According to NHS choices we should take 6 x 200ml a day. So far I have have had 500ml the kids none so far :(

I am just cooking boiled eggs for lunch and am not going to have bread with them as I need reduce my bread intake.

Will need to weigh myself so I can keep track to see if the changes I make have an impact on my weight.

So I need to concentrate on several areas.

    • Eating healthy
    • Reigning in my spending
    • Being more organised
So today I noticed we were £900 into our overdraft
I got paid £600 so now only £300 into overdraft.

I have just over £300 in a spare account so will need to move that over and I should be in the black.

DH gets paid next Tuesday so will need to be careful before then.

Need to work out what's to be paid. Also need to get the kids school uniforms.

I normally get them from M&S but noticed Dunnes school uniforms look good quality and much less than M&S. DD is moving up to Secondary but her blazer is already bought so that was the biggest expense.

Also need to check my Gas/Elec meters to see how they are doing. Still have the £30 left over from the £100 budgeted so really hoping I don't have to use this.

Gas still has £36.30 and Electric £14.22. Really pleased with that

My early start caught up with me and I ended up having a wee nap.

Dinner has been had. Fish, potato croquettes and carrots, sweetcorn and beetroot. Had a few glasses of water but need to measure how much to see if I have reached my daily limit.

Haven't weighed myself yet but will do so tomorrow.

Today should be a NSD :j.

My month will run from 24/07/13 - 24/08/13.

So far this month then I have spent £66.84 on food.

I have hung a wash out today but will need to keep an eye out as the forecast is for rain.

Haven't had any water yet but have filled a 500ml bottle and have popped it into the fridge. I can only drink water that is very cold. I have also stocked up the ice cube tray.

Dinner tonight will be gammon, roast potatoes and veg. Will make some HM veg soup as well to have that as a starter. Then some tinned pineapple for desert.

Not sure about lunch, might just make a salad but will need to think about this soon.

Some credit card bills arrived so need to open them and check my signature.

Still need to weigh myself I just need to get to the Wii to do this.

    Debt currently stands at £1827.80.

Aim to have this cleared by Christmas so that's my goal.

So have started working my way through the endless amount of paperwork. Set up a payment due to be made by 5th August so don't have to worry about missing it. See that's what being organised is all about.

still to have lunch but am drinking my water. I think this makes me less hungry.

Weighed myself :( 9 and a half stone. I am wee so this gives me a BMI of 27 so I am over weight.

Now I agree I need to shift some round the middle but I fit into size 10 so I don't really think I am over weight as such.

Anyway plan to get rid of a stone then I should be happy.

Still unsure if we will go away in October but will be using that as a goal.

Lunch was a salad and I have drank 500 ml of water. kids are having crips and I soooooo want some but will head into the kitche to do the dishes and make the soup.

Dinner has been had and was lovely.

I have managed 1000ml of water so only 200 to go today. Finding it easy to drink my water but m god I have been to the toilet loads of times today :rotfl: lets hope I am starting to flush out bad things.

Plan to have a bath tonight. Tomorrow will be a spend day though has going with a friend and her kids swimming. Just to the local baths though so wont be too expenses.

Not 100% sure what to have for dinner but probably be a lasagne but will see how I feel tomorrow.

Was NSD day as I though so :j:j to my first NSD of my month.
  • I wish I was anywhere near 9 1/2 stone!

I really hope my body gets used to drinking all this water, I'm constantly on the loo :o. I'm starting to feel more thirsty if I hadn't had something to drink so something seems to be happening.

£1827 is not an insurmountable goal, it'll be lovely to get it smashed and have a DF Christmas without having to worry about the CC bills.

    xx
    £10781.62 by 23/04/2014 :rudolf:
    Current goal: £1000/£0 7lbs/0lbs

Getting my own life before my parents change the locks.

So today was a spend day. £7.80 on swimming and £14.27 on lunch so not too bad for a day out.

Just home and the kids and I are tired.

I have hung a washing out as the forcast is for it to stay dry (we shall see)

Not drank any water so far but I have a 500ml bottle cooling in the fridge so should manage my goal of 1200ml today.

Not sure about dinner. Not in the least bit hungry after lunch and DH is on a late shift so has taken dinner to work, so just need to worry about me and the kids. Might make a spag bol but will see.
