Paperwork sorted. I started clearing the cupboard under the stairs, god knows why I am still at it hours later :(

I have stopped to take a rest as I am knackered.

Going to bit the bullet and hang a washing out, it is fairly windy but very grey and the forcast is for 60% rain but so far it hasn't.

Of course as soon as I hang out it will rain.

Need to still do the dishes and do a ironing.

Gardening day here, sun is out and it's dry so getting it done as probably won't get a chance as I have noticed a change in the weather.

Yesterday was a spend DH has actually done 10.5 extra hrs at work this week and was a bit fed up, so we had a McDonalds for dinner for something quick and DH wanted some cider and snacks.

Dinner tonight is chicken with something, not sure what yet.

Should be a NSD though :T

Having a cheap movie night with the kids. Recorded a film a few weeks back and found some microwave popcorn in the cupboard. So a cheap night in for us :money::money:
  • Lazy morning here. No plans other than to tidy a bit and get sorted for school tomorrow.

    Working Tuesday/Wed this week.

Have checked the bank, still on track with money but down to £190 to do for anything not bills or food but should be okay, will have £35 to add to that when Dad gives me the money back for the stuff DH picked up for him. So really that will be £225.

Need to do a few washings today and nip to the shops to get a few things for pack lunches.

Weather here is grey and windy but so far it's dry.
  • That's work over with for another week :j:j

Have had a few small spends over the last few days so need to update spending post.

Dinner was pasta bake, needed something quick as DS has swimming so just about to leave it's at 6pm and only 5 mins away. He is taking ages getting ready so I thought I would pop on her quickly.

Will be back later to update spends.
  • Didn't get round to updating spends last night. Starting to feel unwell (soreness and very very tired).

Today has not been much better, got the kids to school then went back to bed till mid day. Feel a good bit better but could just curl up and sleep forever.

Because of this I am a bit behind. Just dropped DS at one of his activity's so have just over an hour to do as much as I can.

    I need to

    do dishes
    put a washing on
Make a lasagne for DH for his dinners as he is on late's the next few nights.
make chocolate brownies for school bake sale.

Right best get on with it.
  • Another slow start to the day for me.

Have started updating my spends but need to look out some receipts.

DH ended up with mince and potatoes to take to work as I didn't have enough cheese to make the cheese sauce for the lasagne.

DD has swimming straight after school so need to pay for her new term today. She has been doing lessons for years and is getting fed up with them so will see how she goes after this term and maybe look at giving them up. She can swim so not really a major issue if she does.

Feeling it cold today but haven't put the heating on.

I have some admin work to do so will put the kettle on and sit at the table with a hot water bottle to keep me warm.

Right off to do battle with some paperwork.

It certainly is colder today, a real autumnal feel to the air, Think we may have to give in and put the heating on this weekend.Dont know where you are, but up here off the northern point of Scotland it was 9C in my car this morning !

Good Luck with the paperwork, I swear it breeds when no-ones looking. My desk looks like a bombs gone off in a paper factory !
Its just a bad day, Not a bad life ..
  • Updated spends and checked online banking.

After everything paid we have £88.01 left till I get paid in 17 days :(

May end up in OD yet, although I do have £150 I moved from my wages into savings so technically I could just take that back out but will see.

Not sure whats for dinner tonight, might make macaroni cheese as I found a tub of creamed cheese in the fridge so could make it with that. Will see what the kids fancy when they get home.

Right back to the rest of the admin work.
