I think you need more flour, I've made these type of burgers in the past.

I normally add more seasoning and flour to make the mixture bit more thicker before cooking.

You need to squeeze home made burgers really, really hard. I find it helps to imagine that they are, or are part of, someone who you don't like. :)
If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5? :)

Well tried them on 3 members of staff who loved them and wanted more and 4 male 17 year old students, one liked, one thought they were all right and two spat them into the bin the moment they touched their lips, shocked :)

i'm assuming you told the 17 years olds what they were hence the reaction :(

I have a burger press, i got it very cheap off amazon and it means my burgers always stay together :) i agree you really do have to squish homemade burgers.

    Hi

I'm really gald you had trouble making these otherwise you may not have posted about them and I would not have heard about them. I made the burgers today and must say they were delicious. I would be a mainly meat person but have been looking for some veggie options to reduce my intake. These are ideal and very tasty. I must admit though, I followed the recipe to the letter and they turned out great, soft and delicate but they held their shape fine. Will definitely be making again :)
