Thanks! Hope it's okay to add that the first question seems to have changed from the one in the OP.
1. Answer this simple question: Andrew Strauss was presented with 100 bottles of Laithwaite’s wine to commemorate his 100th (and, as it turned out, last) Test match. How many centuries did the former England skipper score in his Test career?
A) 20
21
C) 24
I think it is B - 21.
The second part of 50 words describing your favourite wine moment is still the same, as is the wine prize. Thanks to all those who post!
Started comping May 2013.
Ideal wins: a tablet computer, money for house renovations! Fingers crossed!0 -
Definitely 21 from here
"Strauss' place in history as one of England’s most successful captains is assured. Not only has he won the Ashes home and away but he has also scored 21 Test centuries, one short of the England record."2014 Losses - Front Door Key, Premier League, Luis Suarez0 -
Now a different question:
In which year did Laithwaite’s ambassador David Gower captain England to Ashes success?
Answer still B -1985
