....at local Co-op, I overheard the manager telling someone that they all had to go and there were several different types, all reduced to £7:beer:

Good on anyone who benefits from this deal, just feels a bit too good to be true.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I should have said that I purchased two different sorts, one was normal champagne, and the second was Rose champagne, both went through the till at £7....this was in Reading.0

Were there any signs or labels up to say they were £7 or did they just scan at £7?

they were all labelled up on the shelf at £7, but it wasn't obvious that they were in the sale, there were no reduced stickers, or original prices. ALso these weren't with all the other champagne, they were at the end of an isle near the tills.0

there are loads of wines/ champagnes reduced. Most of the reduced champagnes are now £7 down from around £28/£30
There are also some good wines reduced, we had one from £24.59 down to £7 a bottle (one of the customers looked the bottle up online and the cheapest he could find it for was £40, aparently he had drunk it before and never bought a bottle due to its price everywhere and was suprised to see we had it.)
There are bottles of Gran Familia for £3, Mulled Wine £2, Frenchhouse £3 and loads of others, but it depends on local store stock as clearance on store stock only.0 -
