I have never had the pleasure of going to Manchester, I live in a lovely multi ethnic area in London and everyone around here are lovely, oh good luck with the weight loss :T

hehe It's quite funny - I'd already guessed manchester pride before I read any of the rest of the thread and I didn't know ts_aly2000's story before that.. I have to say you look stunning btw.

Good for you. I'm not on a weight loss programme, I don't feel the need to be.

It's great to hear from you all here and read your words. Really I'm not a hugely confident person inside so it's a slight comfort. I just put up this confident exterior that constantly worries about things afterwards.

Well done on the weight :T:T:T although you already looked fab even as you were so don't worry too much about the other 2lbs

A very good tip I was given regarding confidence is to just act as if you are.. eventually it becomes a habit.. it does work, I've just been really lazy about it lately. For what it's worth, I don't think anyone is truly confident inside and out, some people just put up a better front than others
