Please note Facebook is not required in this stage of the competition. It is only needed in the actual voting of the three short listed entries and so not required if you don't want to vote.

There is 1 x prize to be won. The winner will receive £5,000 (or if ROI, the EURO equivalent) by cheque and their winning flavor will also be developed for manufacture and be on sale in participating Tesco stores (in the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland) as a limited edition flavour in single bags and 6-packs from on/around 1 August 2013 until on/around 31 August 2013

. Entry Criteria:

a) Entry must be in English.

b) Your flavour name must not be an existing Walkers' or third party's flavour of crisps, or other savoury snack food. For a full existing Walkers' flavour list, visit https://www.walkers.co.uk.

c) Only one Walker’s provenance ingredient is permitted per entry. Only those Walker’s provenance ingredients available on entry form will be accepted.

d) Protected Designations of Origin ingredients are not allowed (e.g. stilton, feta, Parma ham, etc.).

e) Entry must not contain or refer to any branded food or beverage products other than Walkers(r) crisps; it must not contain or reference any third party names, logos and/or trademarks.

f) Entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions or that otherwise contain prohibited, or inappropriate content as determined by the Promoter, in its sole discretion, will be disqualified and will not be considered eligible. The Promoter makes the final determination as to which entries are eligible to take part in this Promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.

Winner Selection Process:

12. Selection of Finalists: All entries will be judged by a panel of judges containing at least one independent member, to create a shortlist of the top 3 entries. Entries will be judged on the following criteria:

a) Originality and Creativity
b) Delicious Taste
c) Practicality, Provenance and Suitability of flavour

13. Three (3) Finalist entries will be selected on 22 April 2013.The Finalists will be notified by phone on 22 April 2013 to verify eligibility and will have 2 hours to respond to notification.

14. All Finalists are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. If attempted notification is returned as undeliverable, if a Finalist cannot be verified within the time required, or if a Finalist is otherwise unable to accept their status as Finalist, their selection as Finalist will be forfeited and an alternate Finalist may be selected provided sufficient time remains, in Promoter's sole discretion.

15. Winner Selection: The top three entries will be submitted for a public vote on the Tesco Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/tesco). Between 12:00 on 23 April 2013 and 12:00 on 29 April 2013, the Facebook public will be able to vote for their favourite entry.

16. At the end of the voting period, the entry with the highest number of votes will be declared the Winner, subject to voting verification. In the unlikely event that public voting results in a tie, the tied Finalists will be re-judged by the Judges based on the Judging Criteria stated above in relation to the selection of Finalist entries.

17. Voting: You may submit a maximum of one vote per day. Systems will be in place to identify any invalid votes and votes or entries may be disqualified in the event of any unusual, suspect or fraudulent activity.

If you don't have FB and lots of friends on it you have almost no chance of winning the prize as it's down to a FB vote and even then someone in a vote swop group etc will probably get it.
