The Sunday Times is giving away a Handpicked Hotels country house UK mini break every hour on Sunday 17 March from 9am to 9pm.

A winner is picked from the entries made every hour, so if you want to be in all the draws you need to enter every hour.

It's generally one entry per person per hour.

You don't have to include your phone number to enter. The Times makes marketing calls following competitions, so it's your choice on whether to include your number.

The competition does not open until 9am on Sunday 17 March so entries made before then will not count.

The terms and conditions below state that "Allocation of break will be selected at random", which seems to mean that winners won't get to choose which hotel they go to.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: There will be 12 classic mini breaks to be won. Winners will be selected at random from all entries received for each hour. If there are no entries in an hour, the winner will be selected from all entries received in the previous hour. There will be 1 winner per hour and 12 winners for the competition. The competition starts at 09.00 on March 17, 2013 and closes at 20.59 on March 17, 2013. Each hour will run from XX.01 to XX.59 (for instance, the first hour is 09.01 to 9.59). Entry open to residents of UK only. Each winner will win the following: Two nights' accommodation in a classic double or twin bedroom, three-course table d'hôte dinner on both nights and traditional breakfast on both mornings. Transport is not included to and from the hotel. Draw will take place on Monday, March 18, 2013 and winners will be notified within seven days. Allocation of break will be selected at random. Promoter is Times Newspapers Limited. By entering, any subsequent prize winners agree to allow the free use of their names and county for publicity and news purposes during this and future promotions by TNL or any associated or subsidiary company of NI Group Limited.

just in case anyone is concerned...I have won a mini break with the Times before and was sorta allowed to 'pick' my destination. There were 5 breaks and it was first-come-first-served with emailing the PR lady about our preferences. So it's worth a stab still entering even if you fear you couldn't get to some of the places :T.
