Hehe, yes I'll do what I need to to avoid an IPA. :o

Will definitely keep everyone posted on how it goes.

Rich, a great idea, but you may also find it more useful to start a thread on here, with people posting their I&Es as accepted by the OR . Indeed, we could turn that into a sticky of broad guidelines for acceptable amounts. I can help with a single persons soa - people with families will have to let us know what their OR accpeted. We may then be able to work out some sort of rough guidelines for writing a I&E for the OR. Great stuff!

    Hi Neko,

I think a summary of this report will be very helpful, it's not only based on the size of a family but on income levels, age and geographical location. It's only available as a pdf file (as far as I know), so I'll need to do a lot of work to meaningfully summarise it. If I could get hold of it in excel it wouldn't take long at all.

The problem at the moment is we don't know exactly what the O.R will accept, my approach would always be to pitch higher and let the O.R reuduce it, but will be much better to actually be using the same figures.

For the chopping block! Yes, Thursday at 9:30am. I'm fine about it, having been with OH during his, I know I've nothing to fear - especially as my petition is really clear cut.

OH had one set of OR forms through but has heard nothing since. His creditors have been informed and we've received a steady trickle of letters to that effect.

O.K - I'll leave you to digest the report, and I'll see what I can compile on here. maybe we'll meet somewhere in the middle.

Hope it all goes well on the day Bakey. The OR obviously has a head start with your OH, so maybe you will have a joint interview sooner rather than later.

I've heard nuthin from any of my creditors....apart from the CC statements with all the extra late payment charges on them :rotfl: Put them in the shredder for safe keeping.

Hiya ! This is a nice catch up !

We are more than 6 months in now. Dont really hear from our OR although we have been passed to RTLU. We kept the car and was told we could keep the house for the £1 plus fees. We had an NT code, that money is still sitting in savings waiting for a request for it, the IPA of £130 we had ... still no sight nor sound of them asking for this either...

I check the site every day hoping for discharge... wont be long we hope!

Nice to hear life seems to be treating you well Mike.:j

I'm showing my ignorance now...but what's RTLU? And since I'm a non taxpayer anyway (don't all shout me down at once) what is the purpose of the NT tax code?

RTLU is the office that deals with your assetts when the OR has finished with you. Houses, NT codes etc etc

NT is added so you pay your tax to the OR instaed of the tax man, as your B the tax man cant have it till the end of the tax year... which was in April... Think thats right ??
