Loan Processing Fee - Smile Finance

Hi all,
So I am having to move house due to disrepair and health problems due to my property. I have tried to get everything fixed. The landlord just will not do anything. I have even tried withholding my rent. I will now be getting legal action over this and have this in progress.
The main thing is that I am moving out 20-25th feb as this is when I get paid but I would like to move out sooner. I have a bad credit rating missed payments on loans and banks and returned dd's which for the past 3 months i've been paying regurly but this does not represent how i've been for the last 6 years
I have been offered a £1250 from smile finance saying 5 lenders have accepeted me. In the past i've been asked to pay a loan processing fee of £79 - £290+ but this time they are asking for just £26. do I pay this and will I definetly get the loan or is it a scam and should avoid? any help be great.

They seems legit to me....the £26 seems to be for their admin fee. Will you get the loan....well that's another matter. It's a risk to take if you can afford to lose £26.0

They are legit enough to honour the promise of taking your money alright.
You won't be getting a loan though, they are brokers, they will do no more than take money from you.
You won't get a loan anywhere for goodness sake. You only have a week to go before you get paid. Stick it out or get ripped off.... In fact you will be doing both.
It is a scam0 -
Thanks for all your help well accept from apples who was extremley rude.0

Apples wasn't rude whatsoever they are trying to help you out of a sticky situation where you'll 99% lose that £26 with No sign of a loan ever!!!!

How on earth was Apples reply rude?
You won't get a loan from any mainstream lender with your credit history, and even subprime probably wont lend to you.
Don't waste your money on brokers, a loan is not going to happen.0 -
Stephane knows better than to even suggest it might be legit.
Apples called it right. A loan broker does nothing more than sell your details on to rip-off loan providers & other loan brokers.
You get nothing for your £26 other than further harassment from other people wanting a fee to find you a loan, or people offering you a small loan @ 4000% interest.0 -
No wonder you have fallen for it in the past.mysterygirl1986 wrote: »Thanks for all your help well accept from apples who was extremley rude.
Despite your inability to understand, I have saved you £26 (at least).
It doesn't take long reading your old posts for the Nutjob Claxxon to start rattling.... e.g this one where you claim to live on £10 per MONTH for food.

Apples gave you very good advice and you would be very foolish indeed to ignore it,your £26 will be gone and even if (and its a very big if) they get you a loan it will be at such extortionate interest you wont be able to afford to take it.0

I'm thinking the 3rd sentence maybe hurt her fragile self. If you post on a forum be prepared for all kinds of responses not just the ones you want to hear. Oh and grow a thicker skin.0
