Done some Swagbucks stuff today. It's absolutely chucking it down today, so am happy to stay indoors today
Had a look at my bank online, and it looks like I've had a bonus from work, might be a small pay rise too. So when I get my payslip on Monday, I'll double check, and move the amount straight over. It should mean I can clear the store card straight away, and fling a bit at CC 2. Will double check everything, but it's difficult not to get excited. Won't recalculate my new DFD until I'm sure. Will use any increase in pay as a snowball.
Have a good day

Good news - when checking the bank statements, discovered a payment for a mystery shop, plus 2 pence interest!!! So have transferred all to the store card :j

I have had to chuck out about 3/4 inch of white wine. We don't drink white, and it has probably been left in the fridge since Christmas. Smelled awful, so don't fancy cooking with it. Will freeze leftover white wine next time.

So, things are going really well.
Renewed my season ticket on the train, and got a refund against last year's ticket for service failings, which I transferred straight to store card. Worked out what my bonus from work was, and paid the remaining balance of the store card, so that's gone :j and also transferred the balance to CC 2 (which has the highest interest rate).
The upshot of which brings my DFD forwards to Feb 2017.
I'm thrilled to bits. I know that I won't have such a big boost for a while, but it's really given me an incentive to see how well it's working. Normally I would just pocket the train refund, and not really know where it went. Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Hi rumbly
Just been reading your diary. You are doing really great. Am browsing Debt free diaries whilst OH is watching boring football match! I also have diary which keeps me motivated and am also trying to lose both types of pounds weight wise and money wise. Have a great weekend and keep pressing on!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Thanks Sun Addict - it's nice to know I'm not alone!
I appreciate your support.
Bit of a small bonus today - Mysupermarket gave me a bit of cashback, and I've sold something on Gumtree - moved straight to CC2
