MGM HD Celebrates the Oscars Competition: Terms & Conditions
This promotion is open to residents of UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be required. Employees (or family members of employees) of MGM Channel (UK) Limited, Picturehouse, or any other companies associated with the Promotion, and all affiliates of such companies, may not enter the Promotion.
This promotion opens on Feb 1 2013 and closes at midnight on March 5 2013.

One entry per person. Entries must include full name, email address and phone number to be valid. Entries sent in through agents or third parties will be disqualified. Late, incomplete or otherwise ineligible entries will be disqualified.

Winners will be selected at random by an independent person, from all correct and eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by email.
The prize includes:
Two return Economy class flights from London Heathrow to Los Angeles for four people flying Air New Zealand, including flight taxes. The winner (and his/her companion) are responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the prize that are not specifically included (as stated in these terms and conditions), including (where applicable) any other transport (other than the flights awarded as part of the Prize), spending money, insurance, ESTA visa and all other incidentals.
Accommodation provided will be four consecutive nights at a 4 or 5 star hotel in LA. The hotel is chosen by the Promoter, not the winner. One hotel room provided for each of the four consecutive nights for winner (and his/her companion) to share.
Spending money of US$100 per day is provided to the winner in the form of travellers cheques before departure.
Transfers to/from Heathrow London and to/from Los Angeles airport are provided to the winner, up to a value of £150.00.

Hotel and flights are subject to availability.

Prize travel must be booked before 30th April 2013 for outbound flights to be taken no later than 30 December 2013. All flights are subject to booking and flight availability. No Prize travel is permitted between 21 March – 29 April 2013; 1 July – 2 September 2013 and 7 December 2013 – 30 December 2013

Prize travel is redeemable for carriage on Air New Zealand operated services between London and Los Angeles only.

The Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable, has no cash alternative and has no cancelation value once booked.

Airpoints Dollars™ and Status Points cannot be accrued on prize air travel.

Air New Zealand, its employees and their immediate families, participating agents and their associated agencies are ineligible to enter.

Winners are responsible for their own travel insurance. MGM Channel (UK) Limited and companies associated with the promotion are not responsible for offering alternative flights or accommodation in the event of the winner missing the flights.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.
Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize details beyond the Promoter's control and for any act or default of any third party supplier.
The Promoter will not be liable for any prize(s) that do not reach the winner for reasons beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.
If winners cannot be contacted within a reasonable time period or are not able or available to accept the prize for any reason which is beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, then the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
The Promoter's decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry terms and conditions will be disqualified.
Details of the prize winners' first names and counties will be available for one month after the close of this promotion by writing to the Promoter at the address below and stating the name and date of the promotion.
The name, county and photograph of the winners may be used by the Promoter and its associated companies for post-event publicity purposes. The winners agree to allow the Promoter to use their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional remuneration.
In addition to the use specified above, the Promoter will use each winner's, and each entrant's, personal details for the purpose of administering this promotion. By entering this promotion you agree that MGM Channel (UK) Limited and its business partners may use your information to contact you about products and services you may like. If you do not agree to this you can opt out of receiving marketing communications from MGM Channel (UK) Limited and its business partners and/or change your direct marketing preferences by unsubscribing to the MGM HD Newsletter.
The Promoter may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning entries) if the entrant concerned or anyone authorised by the entrant to deal with their entry, acts in a way towards the Promoter or MGM Channel (UK) Limited staff which the Promoter reasonably considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If winning entries are disqualified the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize/s to another entrant.
This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Promotion.
