Apart from Ikea, which seem to be the cheapest, does anyone know of anywhere that i could buy a child's first/toddler/extendable bed with mattress? Or anywhere with a big sale/discounts on?
Thanks in advance

Why not buy a normal sized bed? Saves having to buy another bed when they outgrow the toddler bed.......

Have you tried Kiddicare or John Lewis - there are often John Lewis codes around and you can go via Quidco. That's Numberwang!0

We had the Ikea one for DS. He loved it, a big bed but with a bar so he didn't roll out. Also it is low down so if they fall out it is not too far (he never did though). Header & footer fold up when they are small and can be folded down individually as they grow so they are never lost in a bed that is far too big. It also comes with washable mattress covers. He was in it until he was 7 so it was well worth the money.
