Monthly Food budget for 3 adults eating mostly vegetarian?

I was just wondering how much do you think I should budget for 3 adults? (there's 5 cats as well but I think I'll have to do a separate budget for them)
I'm hoping that we'll eat mostly vegetarian (with maybe some fish every week and occasionally chicken for 2 people) and healthily( as 2 are diabetics). I'm hoping that we'll cook from scratch too.
I've quickly looked at Gingham's thread but wasn't sure whether her menu planner was just for herself or not.
Thanks

Mine's 2 adults and a very hungry toddler. We seem to be averaging around £36-£40 per week not including occasional take-aways and my too frequent chocoalte/pringle evenings! But our fruit, veg and dairy are all organic and that bumps the price up a little.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

Thanks Gingham,
That's fantastic!
That has given me some idea where to start. I've already been printing out some of your recipes and am going to draw up my own menu planner based on yours.
Thanks again. You are a true inspiration.0 -
