That's why one of my suggestions was a collective grievance: if they are doing this for EVERYONE, and you can get EVERYONE - or at least enough to make it very difficult if they stopped using all of you - to raise the grievance, then your position is safer, IMO.

Also are you in a union? If not, now's the time to join! Your employer doesn't have to recognise the union, or know that you've joined, but it could be well worthwhile if you want advice on how to raise this in a couple of months time.
