I'm confused I "thought" the answer would have been one of the 6 prize destinations which are departing London to either Barbados, Rome, Cape Town, Las Vegas, Barcelona and New York....yesterday was Barbados..

    USA?

The earliest cones were rolled by hand, from hot and thin wafers, but in 1912, Frederick Bruckman, an inventor from Portland, Oregon, patented a machine for rolling ice cream cones. He sold his company to Nabisco in 1928, which is still producing ice cream cones as of 2012. Independent ice-cream providers such as Ben & Jerry's make their own cones.

Seems to be a lot of different answers on Twitter and it's not surprising because there's loads of different answers online!

maemaesmummy, if you're right about the answers and destinations then surely Rome would be the answer?

Hi,is this post related to this : http://www.standard.co.uk/esrewards/win-a-pair-of-flights-to-a-mystery-location-six-to-be-won-this-week-8442596.html

    Thanks for the comp.

Would you be ok just to edit the title for indexing by date/clarity please .A guessedenddate is fine eg:

E: 09/01 Win Return BA Flights TW
    rather than:
E 9/1 Win Return BA Flights TW
Then repost the other element on a new thread.
    Just click edit & advanced
If left as is it will be indexed wrong so you end up with the issue that can be seen on page 1 of this view of the board.Plus we may lose it to Game Over.

7 How can I amend my thread title if I need to?
To edit the thread title you can click 'Edit' then select 'Go Advanced'.

    TitleAmend1.jpg

    TitleAmend2.jpg

The next screen will show your post & above it you will see 2 boxes 'Reason for Editing', which you don't have to complete & also 'Title' which has your thread title info in it.
Simply click into the Title box & amend your text as necessary.

I'm not convinced it's USA: "Paper and metal cones had been used in Europe for some time to hold ice cream and it was known that edible cones were being served in England prior to the 1904 World's Fair (in St. Louis, USA)"

It seems it became popular in 1904, but edible cones were around in England before this USA launch of them.
