It's Time...

so after a year of good intentions and poor actions i have finally come to the conclusion and realisation that i need to do something more than i am. Despite all my plans and spreadsheets i have to be honest with myself and admit that i just haven't budgeted properly.

Yesterday i went onto the Stepchange website and look at their debt remedy tool, i felt sick when it told me that the best thing for me at the moment was to just offer token payments or sell my house :(

i think that was my total lightbulb moment, i think it has only flickered before. I am not an unintelligent person so how can i have thought that i could manage my debt when i havent budgeted properly. some of the things on there and the suggested amounts really made me realise that i should be having more of a life than i am if that makes sense?

I just feel so sick. So i have decided that i will open a new bank account and write to my creditors offering a token amount of £1 a month. Initially i will open a YBS cashminder account but i think i will also try to open a Co-op one as they seem to give you a debit card which i would prefer as i do some bills online such as car tax etc.

so, i need to really make a change this year and stop thinking i can manage by robbing peter to pay paul.

sorry for rambling i just feel so stupid and down, i could sit and cry. i am worried though that my creditors could make me go bankrupt, i owe about 10k between 5 creditors.

any suggestions would be welcome:o
