Why is it so difficult to find out endowment policy annual terminal and other bonus rates. Is there no obligation to make this public. The only information appears to be random newspaper articles. (Clerical Medical of particular interest web site of no help.)

Because they can change daily potentially.Is there no obligation to make this public.
Data is published but it is typically snapshot on a given day and is out of date the minute it is released.
Conventional With Profit funds were designed for a different era. They dont work like modern investments. Unitised With profits tend to be more in line with modern investments but by the time they became more popular, there were not many insurers left still transacting in those areas.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
