Do you really win?!

Hi All,

I'm new to this and have been spending some of my afternoon trawlling through finding comps and entering. I need some inspiration from all of you who've won things to keep me going! How long did it take to win something? and roughly how many do you enter a day?

this is often asked & we all (well very nearly all) win, not necessarily ipads or holidays but smaller things - I enter around 100 to 200 a day sometimes more, had a brilliant december but the previous months weren;'t great with only about 10 prizes a month.

It can be days weeks or months from a comp ending before you find out - my first win was an instant win after about 2 weeks

Yes, lots of of us do win real prizes it's not just an elaborate hoax to make you think we do

December: I got £50 of Superdrug vouchers; a Harrods delivery of chocs and wine on Christmas Eve; am now waiting for a Pet hamper that didn't quite make it for Christmas and also I'm waiting for a George Foreman Grill that I won just before Christmas. Plus a couple of make up items; vouchers (3) for free bottles of Cappella fruit juice; a few money off vouchers, and a Pringles speaker???

So yes, it's for real. You really can win. But remember that with most comps you won't. And some do seem to struggle for wins. I think it's important to enjoy the hobby, rather than count on the wins. The wins are wonderful when they come. But the hobby itself is even better, because you never know what might happen today.

u do have to persevere and be patient but yes u can win

been seriously comping since march and have won £500, a phone , a watch, a kindle and strictly come dancing tickets

You can definitely win but like pp have said you will lose more than you win! Lol. The amount I enter varies from day to day and week to week due to having a full time job and a 1 year old but some days I can do 30-50 and then have a break of about 2 days as I dont have time. I started comping in Feb and have won lots including £500, football tickets, make up, toiletries, GHD's, Tassimo etc. I enter and dont expect anything but then have won in a competition where over 700 from this sight alone may have entered. It really is the luck of the draw and you deffo have to be in it to win it!!

I used to enter every comp on this site , very time consuming what with multiple entries , won quite a few things , Books , DVDs and the like.

These last few months i have cut right back , i mainly enter the ITV ones , any holiday related ones and cash ones , no wins so far , but i know i will click one day thanks to all the posters on here.

I enjoy the joy of the winners thread when you can tell that someones life will really change with the prize they have just won , i live in hope that it WILL be me sooner rather than later.

Anyway , stick in and keep plugging away ...
