Hi all,
Since my dad found out a few years ago that online betting sites give better odds than the shops he has always gambled online.
The problem is that he is completely computer illiterate so i set up and online gambling account for him. He would simply deposit money directly into my bank account and i would place the bets for him.
This has never been a problem until ive decided to go bankrupt. Im worried what the OR will think when he see's money going in out to a gambling site.
Ofcourse i can explain everything too him/her but will this make a difference too my eligability to go bankrupt?
Thanks.

I guess your bank statement would show money going in from your dad , then out
I guess that would back up what your saying.0 -
Am i right in saying they check 3 months bank statements? And if so, is worth waiting the 3 months without any gambling activity to make sure it goes through without complications?0

Hi my O.R wanted 12months bank statements but some want 24 months.
Just be honest with them they are not there to judge xx0 -
Brother (philnicandamy) went bankrupt nearly 6yrs ago simple case no assets etc yet his OR asked for 5+ yrs worth of statements
Be open & Honest and in the end it'll be fine

It's very unlikely they will only want to see 3 months of bank statements as that is not going to show them a picture of how you got into debt.

Mines wanted a copy of each recent bank statement, no previous bank statements at all.
I an in Scotland, so things may be different.
I did find the interview took almost 45 mins, and was very thorough0 -
Thanks for all your replys.
From your comments and from other people i have spoke to, it seems it just depends on who the OR you get is.
Some ask for 1 month, 3 month or up to a years worth of bank statements.
Suppose its just best to go for it and see what happens!
Finger's crossed
