UK Learning College (distance learning) in Glasgow - Any Experiences?

My sister is considering taking a distance learning course with the UK Learning College. The course costs a LOT and she asked me to check them out as she has not been very good at spotting scams in the past. After a bit of googling I cannot find anything good or bad other than their own website.
Has anyone studied with them or heard of them? I would appreciate hearing from anyone with any experience of this college.

Thank you for the reply but the OU does not do the course she needs. So she is having to look for other places.

What qualification does she hope to attain?

Who accredits the qualification under consideration with UK Learning College?

Just to let you know, UK Learning College is a privately owned organisation owned by Dialgia Group... and this Dialgia Group apparently has the exact same business address as UK Learning College: 22 Turnbull Street, Suite 108, Glasgow.

Couldn't find information on either UK Learning College or Dialgia Group on Companies House when performing a company name check, and on their websites Dialgia Group was made in 2011 whilst UK Learning College 2012.

There's a similar website known as Home Learning College and that is a reliable place for distance learning courses. Never heard of UK Learning College myself.

there was a story on one of the consumer programmes about someone who spent a fortune on qualifications which were useless (not accredited, made up) from one of these companies, be very careful where you spend your money. If your sis is looking for work in a particular area, check with the professional body for the occupation to make sure the course is ok with them.

UK Learning College claims to be registered with UKPRN (no: 10031248) but I've never heard of this UKPRN so can't comment on it. Anyone able to find UK Learning College's VAT registration number?

Thank you to everyone who has replied. I'm going to keep looking for information although it seems like they are quite new which would explain lack of information on the net.

Managed to find their previous name. EDistance Learning International Limited (Company No. SC398747). The company appears to be dissolved but their website is still there: http://www.edistancelearning.co.uk

Same business address as UK Learning College. Hmmm.
