Colours of text and background very poorly chosen making it difficult to read page but entered OK in FF - had to highlight all text to see the answersBest Comp wins in 25 years of comping. Return flights for two people from London to Sydney, Australia. The 12 night Highlighted Tour of Australia for two people includes:
DAY 1
- Arrive in the cosmopolitan city of Melbourne and attend an evening welcome drink with your tour guide and fellow travellers. Enjoy a three night stay.
DAY 2
- Take a morning tour of the city and see the Royal Botanic Gardens, St Paul's Cathedral and Parliament House. This afternoon is at leisure -perhaps join an optional tour to Phillip Island to see the famous Penguin Parade.
DAY 3
- Full day at leisure to explore the city and the local region. Perhaps enjoy a scenic ride on Puffing Billy, a century- old steam train. A trip to the YarraValley to sample delicious wines in beautiful natural landscapes is recommended, or you may like to hire a car to drive along the famous Great Ocean Road (all at extra cost).
DAY 4
- Fly to Alice Springs. On arrival, visit the School of Air -providing an educational facility for children living in remote areas. You will then join a local family for afternoon tea at Bond Springs Station, and hear stories of life on a cattle grazing farm. Overnight in Alice Springs.
DAY 5
- Morning tour of Telegraph Hill Station and the excellent Royal Flying Doctor Service. Pass through the West MacDonnell Range, stopping to view indigenous artwork at the ImpanpaAboriginal Community Centre and the majestic Atila(Mount Conner), before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. In the evening, sip a glass of local sparkling wine whilst watching a magical sunset over Uluru from the 'sunset strip' viewing area. Stay two nights.
DAY 6
- Rise early to view Uluru at sunrise. Tour the caves at the base of the rock, visit the Uluru-Kata TjutaCultural Centre, and hear stories of the Aboriginal Dreamtime before heading to Kata Tjuta(the Olgas), a sacred Aboriginal site of 36 colossal domes of red rock. Walk through WalpaGorge, following the natural creek bed between two of the domes. Enjoy sunset here with a glass of sparkling wine.
DAY 7
- Enjoy free time this morning before flying to Cairns. Further time at leisure to explore this vibrant tropical town. Spend three nights in Cairns.
DAY 8
- Cruise by high-speed catamaran to the spectacular Great Barrier Reef, with time for scuba diving (extra cost), snorkelling and swimming. Enjoy a reef education presentation and tropical buffet lunch on board the pontoon.
DAY 9
- Spend today at leisure with the option to take a SkyrailRainforest Cableway ride above the rainforest canopy.
DAY 10
- This morning, encounter unique native animals at the Cairns Wildlife Dome before your flight to Sydney and a three night stay.
DAY 11
- Visit the famous Opera House, Royal Botanic Gardens and Mrs Macquarie's Chair. Stroll along BondiBeach and enjoy a luncheon cruise at Sydney Harbour. Afternoon at leisure to explore the city -perhaps visiting the historic Rocks district.
Day 12
- A full day at leisure. There is the option to visit the remarkable scenery in the Blue Mountains or go wine tasting in the lovely Hunter Valley (extra cost). Farewell dinner.

- Transfer to Sydney airport for your onward flight.
