IF they were to put photos of you on a public facebook page (and it looks like they haven't this time) could you perhaps come to a compromise? If there's a photo of a group of you and you're included in it, for example, could you ask them to pixelate your face/image and ensure that you are not tagged or identifiable?

I run a closed group for our staff/clients to use, that noone else can access. I don't know what you do, or the company structure, but surely this could be an option for you.

It keeps anyone I don't want out of what's going on (and what is occasionally bordering on commercially sensitive), but allows friends and family to be on my personal page, without getting too annoyed with constant postings from work.

Due to the nature of what I do for a living, this is deemed acceptable, however I understand that in most workplaces, it wouldn't be.

I have quite an active FB account - but, all my friends are people that I know, and it's very locked up so that strangers can't get in! I also have a rule that although I don't mind adding people that I used to work with, I never add people that I am currently working with!
