Northern Rock £270m Customer Loan Repayments

Following the announcement yesterday in the Houses of Parliament (See BBC News 11/12/12)
I have a query which I'd appreciate a 2nd opinion on.
Background:
I'm a fairly principled chap and after suffering at the hands of NR and their appaling service, I challenged their practices by taking them to my local magistrates court in 2009.
Whilst the Judge agreed with my stand point and principles, he ruled unsuprisingly in favour of NR as their practices were legal (yet perhaps not 100% morally sound).
A short while later as I'm sure other experienced following the well advertised struggles of NR and the mass exodus of savings customers, my 'Together Loan' rate went from roughly 5% APR to 31.7% with a demand for 90 days payment and the accompanying threats, baliff letters etc.
Sticking to my guns I handed the keys back to my property and declared myself bankrupt in Feb 2010.
Current status: Discharged october 2011.
So it's with some pride/reassurance that the announcement vindicates me in some way as being right in recognising that their practices were wrong.
So with that off my chest my question is, will this repayment be automatically routed to the 150,000+ customers or will there be some form of acceptance forms/process to go through.
Finally, from review of the PPI claims process, I can see that most bank charges/PPI refund claims rest with the Insolvency Service and any payouts from these are their's to claim and/or recover from me if I have already been successful.
I'm sure legally that this will be the same with this sort of payout, but it is nice to think (even for a very short while) that I could get something back for the 3yrs+ of hell that they put me and my family through.
Thanks for reading and any advice you can offer.
