E: 12/12 Win 1 of 10 £100 American Express Gift Cards (email & slight effort)

This is my opinion, and my opinion only, but I think these cards are a bit of a rip off. If you purchased one there is an admin. fee pro rata to the value of the card (I was going to buy a card each for my 2 kids for £50, but the admin. charge was £2.45 each). Additionally, there is a £1.50 per month admin. charge on outstanding balances, 12 months after the gift card is activated. My advice is to use it up before the 12 months and don't top it up. Cut it into small pieces and bin it.

by midnight Wednesday 12 December, describing, in no more than 10 words the most unusual or bizarre festive gift you have ever received. Winners will be selected at random by an independent third party and notified by email.
We've all made mistakes when buying presents - research from American Express reveals 66% of us receive unwanted gifts each year* - but the Gift Card sidesteps all of that. Available in £20, £30, £50 and £100 denominations, they can be redeemed at selected locations where American Express is accepted.** Unlike vouchers or gift cards restricted to just one specific retailer, they offer more flexibility as they can be used for travel, dining, shopping and entertainment. They can be purchased at selected Sainsbury's, Superdrug and WH Smith stores nationwide - perfect if you’re hitting the high street for your Christmas shopping. Cards are also available online from the American Express website, where you can personalise the Gift Card your gift with a message on the Card and on the accompanying letter.
