Sunday Times Where Was I? competition
The prize:
The winner and a guest will stay for four nights, B&B, at the five-star Conrad Algarve, in Quinta do Lago, 20 minutes from Faro airport. Opened in September, the hotel is close to the beach and golf courses, and offers sumptuous accommodation in 154 rooms. The style is fresh and contemporary, and facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, a spa and Gusto — a restaurant run by Heinz Beck, who earned three Michelin stars for his cooking at La Pergola, in Rome.
Return flights will be with the scheduled airline Monarch, which serves Faro from Luton, Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Gatwick and Manchester.
The prize must be taken before May 30, 2013, subject to availability and excluding public holidays. Flights are subject to extra restrictions:
1. Flights are subject to limited availability and may not be available on all dates on all flights during this period.
2. The winner can choose one pair of return flights with Monarch to Faro from the following UK airports: East Midlands, Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, London Gatwick or Manchester.
3. Flight extras are not included in the prize (flight extras include, but are not limited to, pre-allocated seats and the carriage of hold/checked-in baggage).
