iPad

Hi having recently moved from laptop to iPad is it still as easy to do comps with iPad? What form filler would you use etc
Any help would be much appreciated ppl :A

I mostly comp on iPad now but it does have its disadvantages. For some comps (mostly on fb) when it needs flash it doesn't work. It does have an automatic form filler in settings but I've never got mine to work properly! However it is fast and it took me a while to realise you can open more pages together by pressing the little + sign on the right at the top!
One thing I've noticed though...I'm not winning much lately since comping on iPad!

It is easy to enter comps on the ipad, but i'd still prefer comping on the laptop as it was taking me a lot longer on the ipad.

I use an app called "lastpass" to fill in the forms, which i actually prefer to roboform.

Wingobins I am really interested to know why U don't win as many comps. Do u think this is coincidence? What makes u think it might be due to the iPad? it worries me as I only have an iPad lol xx

Probably just coincidence I suppose but last year I won lots when using my old pc, this years been fairly quiet. I do however still use my old email addy for comping rather than the safari one on iPad but sometimes I still get confirmation on safari email address too!
I know it's just luck of the draw but it just seems odd that I don't win as much since using iPad!
Still a great gadget though!

The ipad I won arrived yesterday and I was planning to do my comping on it, but while it is absolutely fantastic for everything else, I think it may take me 10 times longer to enter comps on it! Autofill seems to be a bit random and I find it takes longer to flick between this site and the comp sites...I am going to download chrome and see how I get on with that...anyone else manage to do their comping on an ipad? :think:

I couldn't cope on an iPad for comps. I really only use it for games and checking emails and this forum when my laptop is not turned on.

I won an iPad too. Whilst I do not use it for general comping, I do like to do twitter comping on it.

I haven't really got to grips with how to do simple stuff on it, like copying and pasting. I am thinking of getting an app to teach me how to use it better.

It took me a while to learn to c&p. If you press on the title etc that you need to c&p you get a box saying 'select, select all & paste' I generally click on select then it highlights it with a blue dot, just stretch the dot out to where you need to copy, then click copy and paste where you need to. Sometimes you might need to click on the little yellow mountain pic above, delete the http and paste in that box, click ok. I do this for pics.
A bit complicated but you soon get to grips with it!
The one thing that annoys me is sometimes when I type a word, it changes to a totally different word!
