20p Savers Club 2013

Good afternoon everyone,

I think I remember seeing this thread many years ago and I thought it would be good to restart it all brand spanking shiny and new.

It's similar to the £2 Savers Club and there are no hard or fast rules on how you save. Some people will probably wait until they have a fair amount before banking them, where as other people will wait until they've a huge amount or even until Christmas before banking them...The main element is having some FUN :D

There are more 20p's than £2 coins about too so saving them would probably be easier :)

If you wish to join me in 2013, feel free to pm me or message on here and I'll add you to the list.

    hi :D

I will join in. I recently emptied my pot and have started now saving just 20p because as you say there are more of them. I started a couple of weeks ago but dont plan on opening the tin until its full :D

I have too much debt to justify putting anything bigger away but 20p here and there will add up nicely to a little xmas bonus for next year.

Great stuff, something else that I do! Managed to more or less stick to it on my own for this year and ammassed around £40 in 20p.

Count me in for for 2013 - I'll carry on and put this towards a nice bonus for next year

    Thanks x

  • Hi there, count me in. My aim is £150 :)
  • Great idea - may I join this challenge please?

I shall set myself a target of £150.

    Good luck everyone!
  • Good afternoon,

Nice to see some people over here, I'm glad I'm not alone :)

The lovely list has been updated and numbers have been allocated on the second post.

LAM2011 - Everything helps and I'm sure you'll have a lovely stash of them come Christmas time next year.

fedupandskint - £40 is good going and goes to show how much they can add up.

I think I might put mine towards the car taxes but we'll see what happens next year.

    Happy saving :)
  • May I join you please? I would like to set a target of £100.

I would definitely like to join in :) I'm already saving £2 coins in a pot of dreams for my son but £2 coins are so hard to come by! I've been doing it for a few months and probably only have about £20

I have no target, it would just be interesting to see how many we can save. I'll be buying one of those money tins you open with a tin opener to keep my OH out of it
