Fisherman's Hamper

Hi all,
Every year I make a hamper for my Dad of food, beer and the like as I never know what to get him, but this year I wanted to make it a little different and theme it around his favourite hobby - fishing. I could only find a really old thread on this so I'm hoping people don't mind me starting afresh!
The ideas I've had so far are...
Some flies/fishing line (will go into a shop!)
Fisherman's friends
Coffee/tea
Flask
I don't want to go too far down the practical route as he has so much fancy equipment etc already, I was thinking more funny/silly things or things much more loosely related (e.g. the fisherman's friends!)
Would appreciate all thoughts!!

fishermens gloves
they are neoprene, and only have 2 fingers, (pinkie and ring finger)
the rest are half so he can tie lures without taking them off
a hat with ear flaps, you need to be cosy
handwarmers
disgorgers, cheap, and you always need one
i have a "a badge", it looks like a fishing reel
pin it on and there is loop to clip forceps onto it, and a retractable string
since he is a fly fisherman he is in water
he pins it on, and when he catches a fish, they are "to hand"
single packets of biscuits, like for packed lunch boxes
single packets of handwipes
a new bait box0 -

practical is ok too I really like some of your ideas!! I just meant I want fun too because he has so much practical stuff that I'd just get stuff he doesn't need.

It might be worth a quick browse around that site as they seem to have a lot of stuff on there !

As an update in case anyone else wants to give this a go, so far I've got...
- Super strong "fisherman's soap"
- Fisherman's friends
- Chocolate fish
- A fisherman rubber duck
- Some actual fishing lures
- A bait box I'm going to fill with sweets/chocs
- Magnetic fishing game
- Fishing mug
It's much easier than i expected! Spent about £25 so far, as it's for my Dad it's not the most MSE present but will probably spend £40 ish in total as it's from 2 of us.
Thanks for all the help so far!Officially Mrs B as of March 2013
