1) Free Newspaper
As readers from last week may remember, Waitrose had an offer to get a free week day paper (Mail or Telegraph) when you spend £5 or more..... if you have a My Waitrose card
More details here
http://www.waitrose.com/home/mywaitr...per_offer.html
I can only see it specifying the offer starts on the 5th of November - no mention of when the offer finishes.
Could anyone update us whether the offer has now finished or is still running this week ?
Many thanks
If the offer is still running I would recommend you try to get into Waitrose earlier rather than later, as all the Telegraphs had already gone by midday in my store once peeps were aware of the offer.
You can obtain a My Waitrose Card by completing a form in store (check the CS desk) or online.
2) plus free tea or coffee to drink in the cafe or take away (no spend required), Again the website does not specify a date when this offer finishes...... so any updates would be appreciated.
3) plus free Waitrose Kitchen and Love Life magazine
Thanks to redagila
"Waitrose kitchen magazine This is free if you have a Waitrose card otherwise £1.20.
Inside are
sample Kenco Millicano with moc.
50p moc for Velvet lotioned Toilet tissues 4 roll & competition for spa weekend
£1 moc for Bavaria 2.8% lager 4 pack
£1 moc for Bavaris 0.0% lager 6 pack
Also some other competitions and lots of really yummy recipes "
From the website:-
How do I get a FREE Waitrose Kitchen or LOVE Life magazine?
Next time you’re in store, you can enjoy a complementary copy of Waitrose Kitchen or LOVE life magazine worth £1.20, simply by showing us your myWaitrose card.
Fingers crossed both the free paper and drink offers are still working this week - I managed to get a couple of Telegraphs and 6 coffees/ cappacinos/ lattes and Mocha.... Yum, yum

Here's a coffee for you, The Old Bag - you'll need it to stay awake after staying up so late every night to post this thread (for which, many thanks)!
On the Telegraph promotions webpage it says there's to be a voucher for a free illy coffee or other hot drink at Patisserie Valerie every day this week until Fri 16th Nov. (Sorry, I don't have the paper to confirm the page number.)

I asked the checkout assistant on Friday, and she said as far as she was aware this offer was running indefinitely. Maybe someone can confirm later today.0

Thanks everyone :T
I managed to get a Free Telegraph and Free Latte - and this was about 5pm
surprised there was about half a dozen Telegraphs left.
I didn't look at the Mail, but assume there would be plenty of them left as they usually have loads more Mails than Telegraphs.
Latte was lovely.
Signs still up on both the Newspaper stand and in the Cafe, so it looks like Free Papers and hot drinks for the foreseeable future !!:j
Voucher in Telegraph for Free illy coffee is on page 33.
There is also a voucher about page 4 for a free ice cream at Harvesters.
Not had a chance to wade through the rest yet, but I will post if anything useful/interesting.:p0 -

At a manned till the customer must show their card, and at quickpay the customer must scan their card at the quickpay docking station at the end of their shop. £5 spend must be on qualifying items. "Excluded Items" include non-groceries (such as flowers, entertaining, home and hampers), infant formula, tobacco, stamps, mobile top ups, e-Top up vouchers, lottery tickets, gift vouchers, cash back, car park charges, fuel and delivery charges. Free Waitrose Magazines
Offer available to all myWaitrose members on presentation of a myWaitrose card in store. One issue per myWaitrose member per month. Excludes online, petrol filling stations, Shell and Welcome Break. Subject to availability. No purchase necessary. Offer only available at a manned checkout.
I have just taken above from the Waitrose site so it seems to confirm that the newspaper offer is ongoing on Mon-Fri only but the spend does have exclusions e.g. flowers.
Also looks as though you can have both magazines each month.
