New to Comping!!!

I always worry that if I don't tick all the boxes that accept information from the company and third parties they won't enter me for the competition. Is this the case??? :(

No, it shouldn't be. However, as I have a dedicated comping email, with smart mailboxes tuned to finding 'congratulations' and 'winner' I always say YES to newsletters, but no to 3rd party. Never to phone or post though.

It shouldn't make a difference whether you sign up or not, I know some people don't and still have as many wins. It's down to personal choice. On newsletters you get the chance to pick up comps that might not have been posted too :)

Hope that clears things up a bit! xxx

I've also won plenty and nearly always tick no to whatever I can. I'm not saying that it's impossible that some companies would let this affect who wins, but I doubt most would because they'd be taking quite a risk - unless it's stated in the terms and conditions, that is. Welcome and good luck :)

Same here - i mostly always tick yes to their details etc but always no to 3rd party, however sometimes i accidentally may tick yes or not notice the box, but either way you'd be fine as all 'interest' emails you receive will have a little 'unsubscribe' button at the bottom, so once a month i unsub to loads that i know have ended that way you keep the amount of junk mail down.

I get on average anywhere from 250-500 emails a day - just dont forget ALOT of winning emails wont say youve won in the title so always worth checking/
Good luck and be prepared for a lot of hard work.
