When US stores don't ship to the UK

Hi all,
I have searched for a similar thread but can't find anything quite like my problem! I found an old closed thread of a list of stores that do ship internationally from the US but I was wondering if anyone knows of a company or service that can help if a store doesn't ship to your country.
I wanted to buy some clothes from the surf company Quicksilver via their US store online store (which is much better and 100 x bigger than the UK one!) I couldn't do it online so I emailed them and said I would be more than happy to pay for international shipping and any fees or taxes involved. They were very nice about it but said they couldn't. I know a lot of other companies operate the same way.
If I had a friend in the states who could buy and post for me that would be great but unfortunately I don't!
So I wondered if anyone was in the business of doing this for international customers? As a customer all I would really need is a US address and some way of paying someone for the service of sticking a label on a package and dropping it off at the post office..
If not there should be! I would be more than happy to do this for anyone wanting anything from the UK!

The problem as well, is that you will be hit with vat coming in. It's all changed now. Anything under £15 is good, over is VAT. Not sure of the amount when you actually pay customs duty as well. My daughter was hit with the bill and we had to pay before they would deliver it. Apparently, it is meant to deter people from buying outside the country, but if it was available here, she would have bought it from here as the delivery cost more than the item.0

I have used BundleBox (https://www.bundlebox.com/) before to get my iPad 1 shipped over from America, in the end it only cost me £30 more than waiting for it come out over here.
You can pay all the delivery fees and customs charges at their end so you don't end up with a nasty surprise when it comes in over here.0
