Looks like they are no longer in business, their facebook page was last updated 4th September last year and there is an unanswered question from over a year ago, i did read recently a lot of solar companies had folded with cuts in goverment incentives.

What cuts? I thought the incentives in Northern Ireland were pretty stable since inception.

OR.... could just be a case that people here are a lot more sceptical about offers of "We'll come and supply and install it all for FREE !!"..... NOTHING in life is FREE !!

It's really not that bad a deal. Be better obviously if you can afford them yourself and reap all the benefits but having free electric when the sun is shining for letting out space on the roof is not a bad deal for all concerned.

It's not a good deal unless you are in the house ALL day and using a !!!! load of electric.... so unless you live in a house with no windows and have all the lights, the washing machine, tumble dryer, and about every other electrical appliance in the house on full tilt, then I doubt you'd be using anywhere near enough to justify the "Free Electric"... it's the ROCS (Government subsidies) payments/Feed in tariffs that make it pay and it's the installer that's getting those..... hence it's NOT FREE !!!

Um, if you don't care about how they look on your roof and they don't do any damage then ANY free electric is better than NONE.

There is enough sunshine in the evening in the summer to get home and get your dinner cooked and put a load of washing on.

Same thing in the morning - stick the dishwasher on, immersion to heat hot water, etc.

Not to mention weekends and other times you are home.

Obviously the installer gets the best of the deal (hence their enthusiasm). But it's not fair to say it can't work for the householder as well.

They had an ad on U105 this morning, not that that's a recommendation!

they may have been closed for the holidays as a lot of customers would have been away

    Try saliis.com

We got them done through them.

Also got a device, an iboost, which diverts any extra electric produced through the panels into our hot water tank.

    Hmmmmm.
