Terms and Conditions

• This free prize draw (“Promotion”) is open to all residents of UK aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be required. Employees (or family members of employees) of any group company of the Promoter, companies associated with the Promotion and all affiliates of such companies may not enter this Promotion.
• Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this Promotion.
• Prizes: A bouquet of flowers which will be delivered to an address in the UK. Prizes cannot be delivered to addresses outside the UK.
• The Promotion starts on 1 October 2012 and the final day for entry is 14 October 2012 (“Promotion Period”).
• To take part in this Promotion visit www.funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk or the “Funny how flowers do that” Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/funnyhowflowersdothat/app_486748611343163 during the Promotion Period. The first entrant will need to pick his/her own favourite flower from a selection of 24 flowers and then will need to guess the favourite flower of his/her best friend. The best friend will then be invited to enter the Promotion by selecting his/her favourite flower. If the first friend accurately guesses the favourite flower of the best friend invited to participate and there is a match, both friends will be entered into a free prize draw. Participants both will need to provide full name, phone number and email address.
• Every day during the Promotion Period 5 pairs of winners (10 prizes in total) will be selected at random by an independent adjudicator from complete, eligible entries were the favourite flower has been correctly matched and where the entries received between 1 – 14 October 2012. If you are, you can re-enter during the Promotion. However, 1 prize per household.
• The Promoter does not accept responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry. Entries must not be sent in through agents or third parties. Incomplete entries, and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions, will be disqualified and will not be counted.
• If the Promoter has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of cheating, deception or fraudulent or unsportsman-like conduct of any kind (including, without limitation, manipulating the promotion, choice of successful entrants or any entry) the Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any entrant, entry or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity.
• Winners will be notified by email within the period of 8 – 31 October 2012.
• The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control. There is no cash alternative to the prize and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
• If any successful entrant is not able, for any reason, to accept a prize, or cannot be contacted within 28 days of the date winners are notified, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
• The Promoter’s decisions shall be final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry rules and conditions will be disqualified.
• Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from:
  • any postponement or cancellation of the Promotion, and
  • any changes to, supply of (including, without limitation, prizes which do not reach the intended recipient), or use of the prize, and
  • any act or default of any third party supplier, which are beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
• Details of successful entrant’s names and county will be available for one month after the close of the Promotion by writing to the Promoter at the address set out below and stating the name and closing date of the Promotion.
• Entrants agree to allow the Promoter to use their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional remuneration
• The Promoter will use each entrant’s, personal details for the purpose of administering this Promotion. Please see our Privacy Policy on www.funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk/privacy for further details. Please note that your data may be processed outside of the EU.
• Before providing any personal data of your best friend, you confirm that you have obtained their consent agreeing to be contacted directly by the Promoter.
• If you have opted in, the Promoter may also use the details you give us to contact you for marketing purposes by email and/or SMS.
• Please note that this Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. By entering, you acknowledge that Facebook bears no responsibility for this Promotion and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, you release Facebook from any liability whatsoever in connection with this Promotion. You understand that the information you provide is provided to the Promoter (and its affiliates, associates and agents where applicable) and not to Facebook.
• This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Promotion.

I think that you win the flowers by selecting a friend on FB and guessing which their favourite flower will be (can anyone confirm).
