    Hi Newleaf

I do have a tendency to an all or nothing approach; unfortunately, these days 'all' is too much to cope with so 'nothing' gets done. I think I'm going to put the elephant quote on bits of paper stuck strategically around the flat :)

Blooming internet dongle been playing up, I think it's on the way out. Don't have any money for another one at the moment, so will have to treat it gently and keep my fingers crossed.

Having no internet connection does have it's advantages - I've had loads more time (didn't really know just how much time I was spending online ). I've used this time to catch up with some stuff for work and I even feel like I'm getting a bit ahead. Still a way to go though, so that's my focus at the moment.

Payday's come and gone without me really noticing, which is a good thing. No spending hours with a spreadsheet, juggling payments and then messing it all up. Everything's been paid and debts have gone down over £1000 :j.
I have run out of money on a fairly regular weekly basis, but I've been so busy that, amazingly, I haven't really noticed, and then it's Monday and 'payday' again. I would at some point like to move forward and have a bit of spare money, but for the moment, at least I'm another week closer to the light at the end of the tunnel (which is now standing at Dec 2013).

Have to say that having no internet has also meant a lot more early nights and more time in the mornings, so things are looking better there (as long as I don't slip back into old habits).

If I can get through today, I will have managed 6 weeks no smoking. I had a dream last night where I gave up giving up, I just said s** it, I don't care. I was a bit disappointed this morning to find that I'd still quit smoking and couldn't have one :rotfl:

Hope everyone's having a good day.

Hi Itsa some of the feelings coming across in your posts I can really identify with. I do the whole maximum power full ahead and then steam runs out and I fall flat back.
Your debt busting seems coming along nicely and I really hope the health comes along too. You have a good idea there with the feeding self. Best of luck with the pay day idea. Takes will power that one!

    Hi Itsa

Congratulations on making week 6, thats a real achievement :T

For anyone else who may read your diary and decided they also want to quit smoking, Try contacting your local Newleaf, they can help with support and advice and also you can get 12 weeks of nicotine replacement therapy ( patches, inhalators ect ) for free if you recieve free prescriptions or the price of 1 prescription (£7.80? ) if you normally pay for prescriptions.
You also have to attend each week to see how your getting on and make sure your doing OK.

also Ebay is a lot cheaper for buying patches ect than buying from a shop....

I have subscribed to your diary, best of luck with your boot camp, but for now i must dash. Just wanted to say well done and Never never never give in and think you'll just have just that "one" that pops into your head now and again :D
