Has anyone tried these? Had them tonight on a baked potato, very nice something a little different! Would be good in a chilli. Bought them in sainsburys for 85p which i thought was a bit pricey but will stock up if i get coupons or see them on offer. Maybe a fad but a little change!

You missed the coupons (via facebook -ran out on the 29th Aug).
I got a tin free, used them tonight to make "5 bean chili"
Thought they were OK, for my chili I did wash off most of the sauce though.
Guess they may be convenient for some people who like beans but don't eat lots, though personally I'll stick to buying individual tins of various beans, as it works out cheaper for me and my hubby only eats regular baked beans, so that doesn't help!
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
i had some today for first time too. think mine were 82p in tesco. cheap meal for work with some toast. the sauce tasted different to normal beans too which i liked

They were 50p per tin in Morrisons a while back, then 50p in Tesco so they may be 50p in other supermarkets soon.
Did read a post today saying they were back in Morrisons for 50p, but haven't checked my local to confirm it.
Edit: don't need to go and confirm it now, thanks Lynsey0 -

I got 4 tins this morning and the coupons went through at 85p - they may realise this "glitch" though and may get the till ops to put coupons through at 50p eventually.
Hoping some other supermarket continues with the 50p offer after this one - coupons have long dates.

A local Sainsbury's had them at half price about six weeks ago.
Can't say they were a great hit down the sett. Any flavour advantage from having five different varieties of bean was offset by the strongly flavoured sauce.
Really not sure I can see the point.0 -
:O I loved these when they bought them out a few years back. Gonna have to grab some more of these before they stop them again!0

Well that's a winning sales strategy.0 -
