Reforming wife's wedding rings

Options
My wife's parents are both dead and she has their wedding rings. As she will never wear them I suggested that she has the 2 rings twisted into one ring that she would wear if that makes sense.

Has anybody done anything similar? How much did it cost and where was the best place to get it done (small/ large jeweller, online?)?

Thanks for any replies.

I have a friend who used a piece of old gold from both hers and her hubbie to bes families and had them combined plus prob a bit more to make their wedding rings. This was with Lunns jewellers in Belfast.

  • If you are close to Birmingham Jewellery Quarter try any of the jewellers there. I had a ring of my nans that had worn very thin hubby took it down there and for a minimal sum (cant remember how much as it was at least 10 years ago) I now have an identical ring - they melted the gold and remade it exactly.
